Adin Hill stopped 32 shots, Tanner Pearson scored his first game-winning goal of the season, and the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Florida Panthers 4-1 on Sunday night.

After losing seven of their previous nine games, the Golden Knights earned a much-needed win against the defending Stanley Cup champions to kick off a three-game homestand.

Brayden McNabb, Jack Eichel, and Tomas Hertl also scored for Vegas, while Nic Roy contributed three assists. Anton Lundell scored the lone goal for Florida, with Spencer Knight making 22 saves for the Panthers.

Florida was playing its fourth road game in six nights and was on the second night of a back-to-back after defeating San Jose 7-2 on Saturday.

The victory moved Vegas back into first place in the Pacific Division, one point ahead of Edmonton.
