K’Andre Miller broke a third-period tie, and Jonathan Quick recorded his 400th career victory as the New York Rangers defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2 on Sunday night.
Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad each had a goal and two assists, while Alexis Lafreniere also scored for New York, which snapped a three-game losing streak. J.T. Miller contributed two assists in his first home game since being reacquired in a trade with Vancouver.
Quick, now the first U.S.-born goaltender to reach 400 career wins, finished with 34 saves, stopping 13 shots in the first period, 14 in the second, and seven in the third.
Jack Eichel scored twice for Vegas, but the Golden Knights dropped their third straight. Adin Hill made 24 saves in the loss.

Eichel opened the scoring on the power play with 19 seconds left in the first period, but Lafreniere quickly responded just 1:18 into the second with his 14th goal of the season.
Eichel struck again at 9:16 of the second, putting Vegas back ahead 2-1. However, the Rangers took control in the third period, starting with Zibanejad’s power-play goal at 5:04—his 10th of the season and just his second since Jan. 4.
Miller gave New York the lead for the first time, beating Hill with 8:27 remaining, and Panarin sealed the win with a power-play goal at 18:19.
