Mark Stone scored a goal and added an assist to power the Vegas Golden Knights to a 4-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night, extending their winning streak to three games.

Zach Whitecloud, Victor Olofsson, and Tomas Hertl also scored for Vegas, with Shea Theodore contributing two assists. Ilya Samsonov made 20 saves to secure the win.

William Eklund had a goal and an assist for the Sharks, while Timothy Liljegren scored a power-play goal to narrow the gap late in the game. Alexandar Georgiev stood tall in goal for San Jose with 38 saves but couldn’t keep Vegas at bay.

Olofsson’s ninth goal of the season, a power-play tally just 1:10 into the third period, extended the Golden Knights’ lead to 3-1. Though Liljegren pulled San Jose within one at 10:41 of the third, Hertl’s empty-net goal sealed the victory for Vegas.
