Nicolas Roy, Tomas Hertl, and Pavel Dorofeyev each found the back of the net, helping the Vegas Golden Knights hold off the Anaheim Ducks in a close 3-2 win on Wednesday night.

Shea Theodore provided two assists, while Adin Hill made 22 saves for Vegas. Jack Eichel also notched his 20th assist of the season, placing him second in the NHL for assists.

Brock McGinn and Frank Vatrano scored for the Ducks, with Lukas Dostal stopping 37 shots and Brett Leason adding two assists. Vatrano’s goal in the final 13 seconds brought Anaheim within one, but they couldn’t get a final shot before time expired.

Vegas outshot Anaheim 40-24.
