Noah Hanifin scored twice, including a late go-ahead goal, as the Vegas Golden Knights rallied to defeat the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 on Wednesday night, spoiling Connor McDavid’s return to action.
Jack Eichel contributed a goal and two assists, while Mark Stone also scored for the Golden Knights (9-3-1), who earned their first road win of the season and extended their strong form with six wins in their last seven games. Goalie Adin Hill made 27 saves.
Brett Kulak and Zach Hyman scored for Edmonton, which suffered its second straight loss. Stuart Skinner finished with 31 saves for the Oilers.
