Tahoe Blue Event Center is an indoor arena located in Stateline, Nevada in the United States. It is home to the Tahoe Knight Monsters of the ECHL ice hockey league. It has a capacity of 5,000. Grand Opening occurred on September 23, 2023.

Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced on July 16, 2024, that the organization has entered into a multi-year affiliation agreement with the ECHL’s Tahoe Knight Monsters. This agreement designates the Knight Monsters as the official ECHL affiliate of both the Vegas Golden Knights and Henderson Silver Knights.

The Knight Monsters, based in Stateline, Nevada, was officially named in November 2023 after the ECHL approved the expansion franchise in July of the same year. This affiliation arrangement allows player transfers between Vegas, Henderson, and Tahoe.

McCrimmon emphasized the organization’s commitment to developing strong hockey players and growing the sport in Nevada. He expressed enthusiasm about the prospects of developing in a first-class environment with the Knight Monsters and the collaboration between hockey operations and business staff to bring an exciting product to a new fanbase.

Alex Loh has been appointed as the inaugural head coach of the Knight Monsters. Loh previously served as the interim head coach of the Savannah Ghost Pirates, Vegas’ former ECHL affiliate, where he led the team to a 16-12-3 record. Before his time in Savannah, Loh was the head coach of the Adirondack Thunder for three seasons (2019-22).

The Knight Monsters will begin play in October 2024 at the newly constructed Tahoe Blue Event Center. Fans can follow the team on social media platforms X (@Knight_monsters) and Instagram (@knightmonsters).

Vegas Golden Knights

Owned by Black Knight Sports and Entertainment LLC and established by Owner and Chairman Bill Foley, the Golden Knights have been one of the most successful expansion franchises in sports history since their inception in the 2017-18 season.

The team’s rise to prominence culminated in winning the Stanley Cup in the 2022-23 season, just six years after their inaugural season. This achievement solidified their status as one of the most impressive expansion teams across all major sports leagues.

The Golden Knights have consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence both on and off the ice. They strongly focus on community engagement and growing the sport of hockey in Nevada. Their success has helped establish Las Vegas as a legitimate hockey market and inspired a passionate fanbase in a region not traditionally associated with the sport.
